Tour Our Home Virtually
Take a virtual tour of our beautiful McCowan Residence that is filled with all the amenities you could possibly ask for. Our residents are able to gather in many lounge areas as well as find various activities in our multi-purpose room on the lower level.

Bookshelf Mural: This mural is to help disguise the elevator for residents that are living with Alzheimer's or cognitive impairment. Many residents will gather around exits or elevators in anticipation of leaving, having them "hidden" helps prevent the gathering as well as provides a home-like feel to the Metta Memory Neighbourhood.
Aquarium: Our aquarium was purposely put on our memory care floor for the health benefits related to seniors. We find that many of our residents enjoy looking at the fish. The colours, motion and sounds can serve as a form of therapy to relax the residents. Studies have shown that viewing an aquarium can reduce stress and lower diastolic blood pressure in the elderly.
Salt Water Pool: This feature of our home is prevalent amongst residents and families. We have registered aquafitness instructors who come to our home to teach aqua-aerobics, but residents can book a time to swim without participating in a class.
